Ariana Ruggero

Graduate Research Assistant

 

Ariana Ruggero is a graduate student pursuing her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Hofstra University. Ariana received a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science with a minor in Psychology: Individuals with Disabilities from SUNY Cortland in the Spring of 2023. Ariana has a strong desire for improving the lives of others through better communication. Her clinical interests include working with adult patients to improve their cognitive-linguistic skills, expressive, and receptive language.

Effie Xenakis

Graduate Research Assistant

 

Effie Xenakis is a graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology master's program at Hofstra University. Prior to the graduate program, Effie received a Bachelor of Science in biology at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, with minors in communication sciences and disorders and psychology. Effie is passionate about advancing childrens' communication skills to improve their social, emotional, and educational prosperity. Her clinical interests include speech sound disorders and language and literacy in children.

Julianna Vega

Graduate Research Assistant

 

Julianna Vega is a graduate student pursuing her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Hofstra University. Julianna received a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Long Island University in the Spring of 2023. Julianna is passionate about the field of speech-language pathology and helping others improve their communication skills. Her clinical interests include working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and in Early Intervention.
